Malcolm Cisneros represented Central Mortgage Company in this multi-district litigation filed by plaintiffs in Arizona, California, and Nevada against numerous defendants. The case was assigned to the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. The District Court dismissed plaintiffs’ claims for wrongful foreclosure, conspiracy to commit fraud related to the MERS system, slander of title, unjust enrichment, and declaratory and injunctive relief and held that MERS and MERS-appointed trustees have the power to foreclose.
